Sequence, 16mm colour film, silent, 3 minutes, 2008. Sequence is a complete record of a painting by Angela Allen, and from which its structure is strictly derived. Each square in the grid painting is recorded as a single frame of film, left to right, top to bottom. The process is then repeated with two frames per square. This film is a companion-piece to Interruption and forms part of the series that includes Correspendences.
